There are lots of uses for live blogging - one is to share an event (such as a lecture or conference session) with others in your organization or network.
Several live blog applications exist - the one I've been using lately is called CoverItLive.com. Its free to sign up and there are some very useful demos and instructions for how to get started.
I'll be using this application to live blog from the Center for American Progress this afternoon. I'll be following a lecture entitled, "From the Pulpit to the Polls; Religion in Politics." You can follow the live blog from 12:30-2:00pm (Eastern) on Thursday, April 24, or read the "instant replay" anytime after that, by clicking here.
